Ron Occhipinti started as a bricklayer, establishing a masonry business that serviced The Beach community for over 30 years. Then in 2004 he started his real estate career. For Ron the transition wasn’t a big deal because he already understood houses and construction. The toughest part of the business, getting clients, was something he expected because he had been facing the same ongoing challenge in his masonry business. He was able to convert some of his masonry clients. Today, Ron enjoys the financial rewards that come with the added-value he provides his clients in helping them find the right home, specifically his background and knowledge of construction, especially in The Beach. In fact, he’s pretty familiar with a lot of the issues facing The Beach neighbourhoods, such as underground water streams, bogs and ground conditions. His philosophy is to provide a lot of customer service, going that extra distance, and knowing more than the average realtor. Hi s advice to new realtors is that you need a plan, stay focused, work hard, keep up with technology and keep learning.
