Rami Hamisi started in real estate eight years ago. At the time, he was employed by the Ontario government and had a flexible schedule which allowed him to pursue a second job. The decision proved to be a smart move when Rami’s job with the government ended three years ago. With the extra time and effort he has been able to dedicate to his real estate business he has gotten much busier. He has also been able to focus more on his health and fitness because of the control he has over his schedule. Rami finds real estate interesting and a way for him to have a significant impact on people’s lives. His approach is to service clients as best as he can, not to look for shortcuts, and to value the long-term relationship more than any short-term financial gains. It is those long-term relationships that result in r epeat business and referrals for Rami. His advice for those entering the business is to work hard, find your farming area and then farm it consistently and regularly in order to build your brand. It may take 5-6 years to build a brand, but then you have a solid brand.
