Nick Boothby joined Homeward in early 1998. He’d been a lay-off victim of two big company takeovers and decided to go into real estate in 1996. His first few Homeward years were tough, but Roger & Deirdre stuck by him – giving him front desk duties & encouraging him to door-knock. Nick got his break with the development of the New Beach (Woodbine Park), where he soon became top Re-sale agent: a position he held for many years. Nick says much of his success is due to his life partner Christine DeMerchant who believed in him, created his online presence and designed his marketing materials. Together they’ve been some of Homeward’s highest producers. The team was one of the Beach’s first to customize floor plans and virtual tours for every listing. Now is his 70’s, Nick jokingly calls himself the at-a-distance “Charlie” to his on-the-spot “New Beach Angels” Maddy De nnett & Greg McDowell. Nick has assisted in recruiting more than 40 salespeople to homeward.
