Heidi Petersen worked at Bistro 990 on Bay Street for many years. It was a meeting place for a wonderful mix of characters from all walks of life; neighbourhood residents, politicians, talent from the film world, and other popular Torontonians. When the property was purchased by a real estate developer Heidi knew it was time for a change. Since she couldn't stop the development she decided to join in. Today, Heidi's collaborative approach has taken her into working relationships between brokerages whereby she effectively gets the deal done. She inherited her father’s sense of adventure which brought him from Denmark to Canada in 1952. In her 20s Heidi ventured to Europe for a year to locate her father’s family, which she was blessed to find. Meeting her Danish family, learning the language and culture has been one of the great joys of her life. As a result she relates well to Toronto' s Danish community, which is very active in the film Industry. Heidi has a soft spot for Senior citizens and their needs. Her philosophy in life is to try and be present, happy and always put your best foot forward.
