After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto, Gorby Ghotra headed off to southern Africa. Working in Consumer Packaged Goods distribution he developed his sales skills and ability to talk to people of all walks of life, even when in an unfamiliar environment. Gorby decided to return to Toronto when he realized the importance of quality of life and of being near to his family and friends. Contemplating a career change, he referred back to his finance education and personal interest in real estate, which he shares with his father. For Gorby, real estate represents ownership of your environment, a place to live and appreciation in wealth. He is focused on the Danforth corridor between Woodbine Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue and has an interest in commercial deals. Gorby prefers to work with investors and builders, as well as first-time buyers who value honesty and trustworthiness. He enjoys speaking to people of every condition, from homeless to penthouse residents and he enjoys carrying the conversation. Gorby’s philosophy is to do things from the heart.
