Elva McCoy worked and traveled in Europe for 2 years before returning to Canada to work in nursing. She met her husband in Toronto and they moved to St. Thomas, where he was a partner in a drug store chain. Elva worked in his business and attended the University of Western Ontario for her B.A. Degree. In 1985, she moved back to Toronto and in 1987 obtained her real estate license. She wanted greater flexibility in her schedule while raising her young children. Elva combined her nursing and business background with her high level of patience to help vulnerable first-time home buyers and seniors through their real estate transition. Before entering realestate she realized it took first time buyers and seniors a long time to make any real estate related decisions. She saw there was a need to provide caring, patient and knowledgeable guidance in this niche market. Elva has always believed in life balance and in helping and taking care of others, something she brought with her from her nursing background. It's about taking care of people and following through.
